On the internet trading has exploded significantly in the earlier several years. A stock investor have to use a broker in order to type in their particular investment purchases.

stock: by juj ~

Penny Stocks, small caps, micro caps and nano caps are terms often interchangeable, relating to stocks traded under five dollars a share. Stocks referenced to any of these terms, each has market capitalization, which refers to the total number of shares outstanding of company's stock multiplied by the value per share. The total amount is the market capitalization for the value of the company. Small Cap stocks are companies that are traded and each has a market capitalization under two billion dollars. Micro Caps have market capitalization under $500 million and Nano Caps have market capitalization under $50 Million. Penny stocks are listed the Pink Sheet, do not have the minimum criteria for capitalization and the number of shares required to be listed on NASDAQ (Established in 1971, National Association of Securities Dealers) and OTC (Over-the-counter bulletin board - Stocks that are traded via a dealer network, which refers to broker-dealers negotiate directly with one another over computer networks or by phone, regarding the purchase and sale of these stocks, contrary to a centralized exchange). Web sites that provide resourceful information regarding penny stocks is PinkSheetstock.com, and other listed sites found on Internet search engines. Having a brokerage account, can buy, sell or trade any penny stock. The Securities and Exchange Commission, require financial institutions or brokerage firms to provide their clients with documentation, describing the risks of investing in penny stocks. Also, customers must receive a monthly account statement showing the market value of each penny stock held in their account.

Penny stocks listed on pink sheets have advantages and disadvantages. Advantages: Many more shares can be purchased compared to those stocks trading above one dollar or more, for the same total amount invested. Actually, a few hundred dollars or less, can purchased hundreds, thousands or ten's of thousands of shares, of cheaply priced stock. Sometimes purchasing these very cheap or low price company stocks, may emerge into a more valuable company, and eventually meet the requirements to be listed on NASDAQ. The volatility, speculation and rumors, may greatly influence the daily, weekly or monthly trading of a penny stock. Because of these many factors, day traders can buy and sell, a company shares, in a day, and make a profit. Disadvantages: Many penny stocks traded have a large price difference or spread, between the "Bid Price" (The price an investor pays for a share of stock) and "Asking Price," (The price a seller is willing to accept for the sale of shares of a company stock) because of the few number of shares maybe traded or hardly ever traded, during the day. The difference between both of these prices, makes it harder to sell at a profit, and requires the stock prices to appreciate in value substantially more, in order take a profit. Also, if the liquid for the stock does not exist or is low, the investor's only choose upon selling the stock by lowering the asking price or taking a loss. Brokers or financial institutions tend to charge more commission for penny stock trades. Information regarding the financial records of these companies, which are represented, as penny stocks are harder to locate obtain, outdated, information is prone to fraud or misrepresented. Most brokers or financial advisors do not provide any information regarding their opinion on purchasing or selling penny stocks. Often these stocks are more speculative and have the greatest amount of risk for investing. Statistically, seventy-five percent of penny stock companies, trading under five dollars a share, will file for bankruptcy over ten year period, making their stock valuation almost or at least worthless. According to PinkSheets.com, in 2005 at least 4,781 companies were listed on the Pink Sheets (Most penny stocks are listed), with a market value at least $47.4 billion.

Those interested investing in penny stocks, should be cautionary of those brokers or scam artists, which use high pressure sales techniques, false advertising, and do not encourage investors to check out penny stock investments carefully, through their use of telephone calls, mail solicitation, E-mails, and instant messages on cell phones. These unscrupulous brokers, may not be licensed, provide false representation of a companies financial information or may try lure investors to buy an IPO (Initial public Offerings) penny stocks, by promoting a false advertisement or words of encouragement. Also, trying to sell penny stocks through any of these brokers, would be impossible or unreliable. Often, these brokers become "unavailable" to answer any calls, from those wanting to sell. Through these techniques, a dishonest broker will try to pump up the price of the stock, and then dump the shares, currently owned to make a profit. Also, similar technique adopted by scrupulous newsletter writers (online or mail) or those in chat rooms by providing false information, for prospective investors, by luring them into purchasing penny stocks. Millions of dollars are lost in the penny stock market each year. Unfortunately, the Securities and Exchange Commission, which regulates and enforces securities laws, has no over sight over Pink Sheet listing of stocks, because their jurisdiction only covers companies with more than ten million dollars in assets and more than five hundred shareholders of a public traded company. Almost all stocks traded on the Pink Sheets are not within their jurisdiction. However, extreme cases of antifraud provisions, certainly captures the radar detection for criminal prosecution of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In 2004, SEC did pursue prosecution against various brokers, which pumped up the price of some penny stocks or provided false research information, which got investors to purchase those penny stocks, then where sold by those brokers, which already had purchased those shares.

Making the house Wheelchair offered. Very well the first thing to ascertain will be the peak that you're going to include.

Ramps by Mazda6 (Tor)

The Americans With Disabilities Act requires many public buildings and businesses to be accessible to people that use wheelchairs and wheelchair users also need accessible homes, of course. If your home or place of business has stairs to reach the entrance, you can build a wheelchair ramp to allow wheelchair users access. It's important to build a ramp correctly so that it's safe and easy to use.

Step One

Check local building codes to find out if you must have a permit before building your wheelchair ramp.

Step Two

Plan to build a ramp with a rise of no more than one inch per foot of ramp in accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act standards. That means if your ramp must go up to a level of 10 feet, it must be ten feet long. Measure from the ground up to the level where your ramp must reach to determine how long the ramp must be.

Step Three

Build switchbacks into your wheelchair ramp if you do not have enough room to make a ramp long enough without switchbacks.

Step Four

Construct a ramp at least 36 inches wide to easily accommodate a wheelchair. You may find the ramp easier to use if you build it a bit wider than that.

Step Five

Build landings at the top and bottom of your wheelchair ramp and at any switchbacks. Make all landings at least five feet long and at least as wide as the ramp. You may find the ramp easier to use if you make any landings at switchbacks longer than five feet.

Step Six

Select pressure treated wood to construct your wheelchair ramp to increase durability and prevent rotting of the wood. Build your ramp from concrete or aluminum if you prefer. Select wood or other materials that match the exterior of your home or business for the best appearance.

Step Seven

Install sand grit strips on a wooden ramp to improve traction as wood becomes very slippery when wet.

Step Eight

Install handrails on both sides of your wheelchair ramp. Make the handrails 30 to 38 inches high.

Disclaimer: Most of the techniques discussed in this paper are not surefire ways to make profit off the stock market, although some actually worked. Read at your own risk! 100,000 dollars is a pretty good amount of money to start off with in the stock market. One may opt to spend a little at a time, but being teenagers, we couldn't wait to see how much money we could make off the market. The technique I used to buy stock was pretty straight forward: I find a stock that nobody has or thinks of on a daily basis. Sure you could make money off of Nike, a sportswear company. But how many people will invest in the company that manufactures the thread for the shoelaces that go into the shoes? That company probably makes shoelaces for Nike and other major brand shoe companies. When thinking of stock to purchase, I researched the company which I was interested in. I did not only check their PE ratio, or EPS; I read anything I could find on that company. I checked the goods and/or services they offered in the past to see if there was a trend of failing ideas, and researched the ideas that they have for the future.Another great way that I analyzed a stock was to see what other people think of the stock. I am a member of six online stock market forums which are: A.I. Stock Market Forum, Trending 123, Superior Investor, Capitals Tool, Mr. Market is Huge, and Talk Stox. From my own experience, Capitals Tool is the best forum because it has the most traffic and most posts. And the people who are posting are pretty credible. Aside from forums, there are other people out there who suggest good stocks to buy. Through trial and error, I found out that most of these sites just give you advice because they want you to trade with their firm. Basically, researching the past, present and future of the companyis a good way to analyze it. Also, it is always good to get a second opinion. As for the specifics of the stocks we purchased, they are as follows: Capital One is a credit card company. It's a fact that online sales are going up (see appendix). It's also a fact that the only way to pay online, besides PayPal, is by credit card. We purchased this stock before the holiday season in hopes that people will buy presents online. But this holiday season, people decided to purchase gifts the conventional way and go to a store. Also, people are giving gift cards as present more often (see apendix). We bought MasterCard for the samee reason.

Chpt3-SecB: How Are Shares Bought and Sold? by palynp

China's GDP (gross domestic product) in 2010 was reported to be around 10%. In 2010, China surpassed Japan to become the world's second largest economy. In 2011, China's GDP growth is estimated to remain around or above 10%. With this past and projected rapid economic growth, investors are looking for opportunities in the stocks of Chinese companies.

Presently, the stock valuations of many small Chinese companies look very attractive and the financial fundamentals appear strong. Although many of these companies are not covered by analysts, quite a few of those that are have a buy or a strong buy rating.

While the stock of some of these small Chinese companies looks like a potentially good opportunity to cash-in on China's continued projected growth, prior and recent allegations of fraud, accounting discrepancies, and deceptive financial reporting against certain of these companies, including Orient Paper (ONP), China Sky One Medical (CSKI) and China MediaExpress Holdings (CCME), have caused fear and uncertainty about investing in the Chinese RTO market and quite a bit of volatility in not only the stock of the targeted companies but of other China RTOs.

What exactly is an RTO? An "RTO" is a "reverse takeover" and is also known as or sometimes called a "reverse merger" or a "reverse IPO" and refers to a type of merger that is used by a private company to quickly become publicly traded on one of the stock exchanges without having to go through the expense or financial scrutiny that is normally involved or associated with an IPO (Initial Public Offering).

This is achieved by the private company (in this case a small Chinese company or "X") initially buying enough controlling shares of an already listed and publicly traded company or "Y". The X company's shareholder(s) then trade their shares held in the X company for shares of the Y company and, thereby, the X company then effectively becomes the publicly traded Y company.

The problem with this for investors is, of course, that X becomes the publicly traded Y without having to go through the expensive and tedious independent third-party audit nor disclose its financial records and information to the SEC or to prospective shareholders prior to publicly selling its stock on an exchange. Reportedly, some X companies, having become the Y company, then hire and pay a supposedly independent, unbiased research firm or outfit for favorable coverage in an effort to generate public interest in and demand for the stock.

It is estimated that over 350 small Chinese companies have used the reverse takeover, reverse merger or reverse IPO as a "back door" to quickly and inexpensively get listed as a public trading company. While some of these companies may, indeed, be guilty of fraud and deception with respect to accounting discrepancies, financial reporting or other improprieties, others may be perfectly legitimate but are suspect (and their low stock valuations reflect this) due to the concept of guilt by association.

Are all China RTOs suspect? The prudent and cautious initial answer is probably "yes". However, one also needs to know who is making these allegations against a particular company. In many cases, the persons or entities who have accused the targeted Chinese RTO hold substantial short positions in that targeted company. Once an accusation is made, the market response, borne out of fear and uncertainty, will likely trigger a massive sell-off of the stock of the targeted company. When the massive sell off is triggered, the accusers (short sellers) make huge profits.

As is the case with an investment in any stock, exchange trade fund or other security, it is up to the individual investor to do his or her due diligence and evaluate the risks. In the case of the China RTOs, it is even more critical, in fact it is mandatory that the individual investor takes the extra time and effort to thoroughly understand all of the facts surrounding the China RTO market and extensively research the stock of a particular Chinese RTO.

An excellent article on SeekingAlpha.com, describing some red flags for Chinese RTO stock investors to look for, is just one of many good starting points.

Good luck and happy and safe trading!

On the web Trading Can help you Maximize Ones Assets

stock market trading course by learningthemarket

The Internet along with the computer has brought online stock trading available to anyone with an Internet connection and some money to invest. Having easy access to a trading account has a disadvantage. If you are not careful in selecting your stocks, you could easily lose all of your money. How to pick winning stocks will be addressed in a different article. We will concentrate here on how to open an online stock trading account.

Online stockbrokers come in two forms. The first type is what is called a discount broker. The second type is called the deep discount broker. It should be obvious that the main difference between these two types of online stockbrokers is the commissions they charge. Discount stockbrokers have commissions that range between $7 and $12 per trade. The deep discounted broker has a commission rate as low as one dollar per trade.

Regardless of which type of stockbroker you choose, you will not be dealing with a person. All stock transactions and communication will be done over the Internet. That is how they can charge such a small commission. If you need to talk to a live person, there is often a charge for that. Be aware of the fees and policy before you sign up.

It is important to know if the stockbroker you choose has real time access to stock trading prices. Sometimes there will be a fee for real-time access. Make sure the website clearly states that they offer real-time quotes. Because the commission rates on deep discounted broker's is so low, they often charge extra for real-time price quotes. If the broker you are considering does not offer these real-time quotes, look elsewhere. Unless you are a long term trader you need up to the minute quotes. The time lag between the actual quoted price and delayed price quote could end up costing you more than the commission would have otherwise been. Therefore, be prepared to pay a higher commission for a more accurate, real-time stock quote.

Once you have done your research and have chosen a broker, you will then need to complete the online application form. In most cases you can fill out the form online and submit it. Be prepared however to print out the application and send the hard copy to the broker as confirmation before you will be allowed to trade online.

Competition is very strong in this field. Because of that, you will probably not have to pay any additional fees. Many times the broker will offer incentives for you joining and trading at their site. The incentive is often a certain number of trades for free for the first month. There may be an inactivity fee, however. That means if you have not had a trade in a certain number of months, they would charge you an inactivity fee. Read the documentation closely so that you are aware of this charge. If your account is an IRA, the inactive fee does not apply.

Once your application is completed and sent to the broker, you will be instructed as to how to deposit your money with them. They may accept a credit card as deposit. If not you will have to make a physical payment into their bank. This can either be done with a check or a wire transfer. Once your account is funded, you are ready to start trading.

Basic Safety Suggestions For Repairing Home Appliances Appliance Repair Products and services For Your All Appliances

Appliance Repair Experts - 3 by Appliance Repair Experts

Appliance repairs are expensive. On the other hand, so are new appliances. Used appliances cost less, but then you are faced with repair costs again to keep them running. It's a vicious circle, but one we can break by doing our own appliance repairs.

Before the advent of the Internet, especially the World Wide Web, do-it-yourself appliance repair was problematic to say the least. Manuals were expensive, if you could find them at all, and parts were often hard to locate. I found myself doing a lot of figuring it out as I went - not always the best strategy for machinery repair.

Now, though, there are a wide range of resources available online for the do-it-yourself repairman. This article will guide you through some of the options. Though it is by no means an exhaustive list, there is plenty here to see you through to saving money by fixing it yourself.

The Good (Recommended)

American Appliance is my first stop for appliance repair information. The best features of this site are the diagnostic charts and the exploded views of subsystems with all the parts labeled. This site is invaluable for identifying potential causes of your problems and identifying the parts responsible so you can order replacements.

Appliance Aid offers a decent repair information section with detailed instructions for diagnosing and repairing many common problems. My biggest gripe with these instructions are they way they are formatted. More white space and some paragraph breaks would make these pages much more readable and, thus, more useful. In spite of that, this site provides excellent information on lots of different appliances and brands, along with a listing of manufacturers' telephone numbers and a section of appliance repair jokes for easing the stress.

Samurai Appliance Repair Man The Samurai Appliance Repair Man hosts a blog and a number of forums where you can ask questions about your appliance problems and get answers from the host and from other forum users. The Samurai Appliance Repair Man is occasionally sarcastic or satirical, but seems to give good advice. The forums are an excellent source of advice from experienced appliance repair professionals and do-it-yourselfers. He does ask that you contribute to his beer fund, though this is completely voluntary. It's a small price to pay for such good help.

Appliance Blog gives tips from an appliance repairman. The Appliance Blog also has asociated forums for quick access to other users' knowledge.

The Bad (Not Recommended)

Appliance411 is a Web site with no apparent purpose. It offers extremely limited help, and the forums are small and little-used. Parts listings are linked to RepairClinic.com.

ApplianceRepair.net is deceptively named. the only resources available here are printed and online manuals for purchase. It does have one feature of limited usefulness that lets you search for parts distributors by Area Code.

The Ugly (Don't Waste Your Time)

ApplianceStuff.com has VERY limited repair info. They have an online Parts Information Request Form, but no catalog.

Point and Click Appliance Repair is another site with extremely limited online help. If you purchase a part, they offer free help by e-mail.

Parts and Manuals

When the time comes to order parts, finding a trustworthy and dependable source is vital. These three sites offer online ordering and comprehensive parts catalogs. They accept major credit cards over a connection secured by Secure Sockets Layer technology. They all also have toll-free telephone numbers listed if you want to speak to a person.

RepairClinic.com is my preferred source for appliance parts. Their online catalog contains seemingly every appliance part you might ever need. If you don't know the part number or name or the maodel number of your appliance, their online Parts Detective will help you narrow your choices based on size, color, metallic or plastic, and location of the part in question. They keep virtually their entire catalog in stock and ship promptly. Highly recommended.

PartSelect.com carries an extensive inventory factory original or authorized replacement parts. They use several warehouses around North America, so parts can often be shipped from nearby for reduced shipping cost and fast delivery. The real drawback to PartSelect, and the consideration that keeps them from being my Number One pick, is that you must have the model number available to locate parts. Else, you have to browse through thousands of parts to find the right one. Since my washing machine, the appliance I spend the most time working on, has lost the plate containing the model number, this eliminated PartSelect from my top slot.

Appliance Parts Depot allows browsing to find the part you need by type of appliance, then brand name, then part description. Their catalog does not have pictures of many of the parts listed, so identification can be an adventure occasionally. AP Depot also has a Chat feature for help and support.

Do-it-yourself appliance repair is a good way to save money, if you have an adventurous mindset, and there is plenty of quality help available just a Web browser away.
